That probably sounds odd “Get Back To Your Ex”, what I mean by that is getting back to the closeness and love you both once shared. Most folks don’t feel it is possible to recapture the spark after you have officially broken up.

Here’s the thing, when you are the one who has been broken up with it is a very traumatic time. Even though you have feelings that tell you that getting back with your ex lover is the right thing to do, there is an underlying feeling that it is just not possible. If the emotions are present it might scare your ex away and you could blow the only chance you have to get them back.

The lines of contact should be built slowly. Start with just checking on how they are doing. As the contact builds and you have an opportunity to spend some time with your ex, do something that you used to enjoy as a couple. This helps each of your spirits be positive and it will remind your ex what they have been missing out on.

Gentlemen, make a focused effort to listen and honestly respect the feelings and emotions your female counterparts. This will show to your ex girlfriend or ex wife that you are capable of fulfilling her emotional requirements. Women should avoid becoming clingy and emotional, this too can scare your partner away.

While you are with your ex partner, make sure to demonstrate the efforts you are making to change the factors that may have affected the relationship in the first go around. Your ex will appreciate the efforts you are making.

If you are feeling as if the changes that need to be made are NOT possible, do not try to get back to your ex, it will only lead to more heartbreak for you both.

You may need to walk away several times in order to get over the madness and yelling but you can do it.

talk about what is causing all the fighting. Once you eliminate or gain control on what started your fighting to begin with you will be able to work together to control it. No matter what it is you need to control it and not let it control you.

Get a pen and paper and start writing down some things that you want to work on or that you feel are important and what is actually causing you to fight.

A marriage is worth fighting for but it shouldn’t be based on fighting alone. Work hard and overcome the fighting. Then you can actually say that I was able to save my marriage.
