Without any shadow of a doubt at all, St Valentine’s Day is the most important day of the year for lovers. Although many people contend that St Valentine’s Day is only a commercialized festival created for the reason of encouraging people to buy cards, flowers and presents. However, there are others who do not care how St Valentine’s Day started and are just happy to have a day when they can plan a romantic day with the one they adore.
For many people, this day involves giving a gift of some type, whether this is a small gift or an expensive present, working out what to give your loved one for St Valentine’s Day can be a difficult decision. This article will offer a couple of suggestions for gifts on St Valentine’s Day.
1] One of the simplest, and most popular St Valentine’s Day presents is a card. It may not seem like a lot, but many people, women in particular, say that a card is one of the best presents they can receive on St Valentine’s Day. However, you cannot give just any old card, the best cards express your sentiments about your loved one and your liaison.
You can buy cards with a pre-printed verse, but can also find cards which are blank inside, so that you can write your own sentiments and if you cannot find a card that looks like you want it to, you can even try creating your own card.
2] Jewelry is another terrific present for St Valentine’s Day. Simple earrings might be suitable for a new relationship, while a more expensive present would be appropriate for a relationship, which is more deeply rooted. Despite the price of the gift, the jewelry you give to your partner on St Valentine’s Day will be something she will really appreciate.
3] A weekend away is another excellent present for St Valentine’s Day. This kind of gift is more appropriate for couples who have been dating for a while or who are married. If you and your partner have never traveled together before, you might want to discuss the present with your partner beforehand as opposed to surprising him or her with the present.
4] What would St Valentine’s Day be without candy? The most traditional presents on St Valentine’s Day are flowers and candy. While these presents are very much prized, most women would agree that candy is their favourite part of the duo. Flowers are beautiful and are always treasured, but chocolates, and especially gourmet chocolates are the number one.
5] Finally, there is no reason why Valentine’s Day presents have to be any different than presents you would give for other occasions such as a birthday or Christmas. You can give things such as clothing, DVDs, CDs, electronic gadgets or anything else that you know your partner will appreciate. As long as you are giving your companion a present you know he or she will like, it will make a good present for St Valentine’s Day.

Going out into the world of dating can be rather scary. Too often dates turn into prime opportunities for individuals to end up looking like a fool. The discomfort and awkwardness that are often present on first dates make them an unpleasant experience all too often. While catastrophic dates make for good cocktail chatter, too many of them can turn a person sour to the whole idea of dating and finding love.
Trolling clubs and bars is one way to go about dating but sticking to these locations alone is going to drastically limit the chances of any subsequent dates going terribly well and turning into the real deal.
Meeting compatible people out in the big bad world can be a rather daunting task due to the shear number of individuals out there, but it is important that people remain hopeful and not settle for a friend or co-worker that is simply nearby. There are other options for people looking to meet the “one”. The internet has ushered in a whole new approach to dating with the creation of online dating websites. These sites give people a better sense of security in the dating world because they can hide behind the safety of anonymity. The idea of rejection is horrible and most people try to avoid it at any cost and online dating helps lessen the sting of flat out rejection.
Communicating through the site is a wonderful way to get to know someone else because there is a bit of buffer zone in between. People can ease themselves into the dating world with minimal risk of being hurt.
Communicating via the website also gives people the opportunity to see if another person really does share their interests without having to waste time with dates and awkward phonecalls.
This protected aspect of online dating services is really great for people who err more on the shy side. If a conversation is struck up between two people on a site they can get to know one another a little better before meeting face to face. Exchanging ideas, beliefs, and interests in conversations before actually meeting increases the chances that the first official date will be a success.
A lot of people are much more comfortable and relaxed in their conversations when they do not have to constantly worry about their appearance or look their date in the eyes. Establishing some level of comfort before meeting helps facilitate conversation and a connection once a real date takes place.
Well researched online dating advice is invaluable. Jayde Johanssen has learned the hard way that a little research prior to internet dating, saves plenty of heartache in the end.

We have a lot of single friends at the moment and even if we tell them to go out to meet people it’s still not enough to get them to move. Below are some of the reasons why people have a difficult time finding love. Others may be aware of it, others may not but your friend might have some of these indications.
Work. Yes work! Overly dedicated workers or what we call workaholics are people who can’t find the love of their life because they give all their time to work. Pursuing a career is not a bad thing, however, you must have time to stop, relax and meet other people. Working overtime is not only bad for your health but also for your social life. So for those workaholics you might want to rethink your schedule and have some time off for yourself.
If you live in a small town then it would be hard for you to talk to other people of your same age. For you to increase your chances of finding the one you love you must be surrounded by a lot of people. Not just the ones that you are used to. In addition, since you live in a small town, there are less people to meet.
Another reason may be that you lack that certain excitement of your life. You had been used to doing the same thing repeatedly and you’re comfortable with it. If you think that some guy will just knock on your door to ask you our then you are mistaken. You have to go out! Do the things you like and love, usually when you meet someone with the same interests you could hang out and have fun together.
Family really does come first before everything in life but you must save some time for your personal life. How would you be able to find the one for you if you are too busy with work and with your family? You should also consider your personal happiness in matters like this.
To wrap it up, enjoy your life while you still can. When you grow older, you will have all the time to sit for many hours a day but now that you are still young, go out and have fun. Socialize and meet new people. Locating that one guy you would want to grow old with is just too important to pass up. Nobody wants to be alone after all.

Some people may think that online dating is a lot easier than looking for a date offline but it can b a lot harder in retrospect. This is because you may have to search through lots of potential dates and reply to may offers or even arrange to meet lots of people.
This is why you should be fully certain that online dating is right for you before you even contemplate signing up for any online dating sites.
It is better not to have such high expectations when signing up for these online dating sites. You may all have seen the happy couples on the advertisements that say they found their soul mates on this or that dating site. Unfortunately this does not happen quite as often as these sites would have you believe. There is no guarantee that you will in fact find your soul mate.
It is far better to go into these sites with your expectations a little lower with regards to finding your dream woman at least. That does not mean drop your standards as to what sort of woman you are willing to meet.
If you are keen and always maintain an updated profile for your dating site then you may find many more people responding to your site profile.
Keeping an updated profile will ensure that the people see the real you when they are searching for suitors. It can also ensure that you get a better response rate and possibly more dates.
Some people like to carry on with normal dating as well as trying online dating sites. Just because you do one it does not mean that you cannot do the other. Double the chances means you may have twice as much luck at finding your perfect match.
It is not about doing twice the work but it is about increasing your chances of finding your potential soul mate. By keeping your options open as to your dating methods your chances of meeting your ideal woman will definitely increase.

Almost everyone has a liking for chocolate, even if they would rather rebuff it. But some of us have a craze for it and if you tried gourmet chocolate, this would turn into a devotion. The sensation of its texture in your mouth as it melts is very pleasing and its richness takes this pleasure to a whole new level. Some people even say that they would rather chocolate over anything else.
Although chocolate is delicious, some chocolates are more enjoyable than others. A Snickers bar is full of chocolate but it is also stuffed with peanuts and caramel and the chocolate is not so great anyway. Thankfully, there are gourmet chocolates to be had to satisfy any chocolate lover’s chocolate desire.
There are enough different cacao inspired delectable snacks out there to please almost everyone. There are kinds of chocolate that some people probably never have thought possible. Chocolates now even come in a chocolate-wine combination to act as a decadent topping to a dessert.
Examples of the flavours you can get are: chocolate espresso merlot and chocolate raspberry cabernet. Many pure chocolate and wine lovers knew that wine and chocolate fitted well together, but would not have thought of combining them in a sauce. However, when they are poured over ice-cream, they are a pure delight to the taste buds.
Chocolates called truffles of all styles are also obtainable for those with an extra sweet tooth, whether you like dark, milk or white chocolate. There are also boxes of chocolate to suit everybody’s needs. They contain a wide variety of different gourmet chocolates. Some people really like coffee filled chocolates or cherry filled chocolates.
There are selection boxes of chocolates too which offer one or two of all the types of gourmet chocolates that that firm has to offer. Some of the combinations you will have heard of, others you will not. A selection box like this is a somewhat less expensive way of getting to know a manufacturer’s wares.
If you just want an normal bar of gourmet chocolate, then those are available too from first-class suppliers. It is best to look online or in Yellow Pages. I have seen dark, milk and white chocolate bars available, but I prefer the individual bonbons, although a bar is easier to carry in your bag and it is the same high-quality chocolate, but without a filling..
These small, but delectable gourmet chocolates make perfect, romantic gifts for your paramour too. Also, if you know a chocolate lover, then they will seriously be grateful for the complex taste of these gourmet delights. They will know that you have spent your time and money getting them the only gift they really wanted.
Online stores that sell these luscious chocolates often also have gift certificates available, so if you cannot choose the perfect gourmet chocolates you can definitely let them do it for themselves with your voucher.

Forgiveness is considered a divine act by most cultures. However, it’s tough to give when the error is committed by someone we love- like our partner. We have a lot more expectations from the one who has our heart in comparison to any other ordinary individual. Plus a big enough error on his or her part could force you to be on less than friendly terms with him/her for the rest of your life. However, for any relationship to thrive, forgiveness is essential. So, difficult as it might appear, you must learn to forgive your partner before it is too late.
1st things first, talk it out. Talking here basically emphasizes on sitting down and having an friendly discussion. This in no way states that you need to get violent, shout at one another, throw away handy things like bottles of Clearpores Skin Cleansing System. Behave like mature folks who wish to sort things out. Express your opinion clearly, all the while ensuring that you also patiently hear the other person’s stance. Talking helps vent out your feelings of bitterness making forgiving simple for you.
Spend time away from one another. Go away from your partner for a few days. This will allow you to think clearly. Things that earlier went unnoticed will come to your mind on their own. You need to give yourself and your partner some space. This time off will help you figure out if you are even willing to forgive your other half or not.
Cry to your heart’s desire, if you’re striving hard to forgive your partner. Quite surprisingly, nothing may comfort you more than crying your heart out. The more you cry, better it is for you. This ensures that you let go off all the pent up feelings.
However, a word of caution to those who’re battling from skin conditions such as acne: crying could aggravate your difficulty. Merely rub or wipe away the tears that can exacerbate the skin problem and use successful treatment like Exposed Skincare System to remedy the same.
Leave the past behind. This is an significant step to forgiveness. While you may not be able to erase the hurt thoroughly, you must try and let those feelings of bitterness go. Without doing so, it would be much more difficult for you to forgive your other half.
When dealing with such emotional chaos, it is fairly natural for you to deviate from your diet plan. But, there is nothing to worry as you may use Dietrine Carb Blocker and stick to accomplishing your goals.
So, while it may be difficult to forget and forgive the past hurts caused by your partner, you simply must make an effort to exonerate him/her if you want your life and relationship to go on.
Here is some more information on Dietrine Carb Blocker and Exposed Skin care System.

I have several questions for you first of all. Do you like chocolate? Or does it go further than that? Do you love chocolate are you what is called a chocoholic? And lastly, was that attitude fashioned by store-bought chocolate such as Mars Bars, Galaxy and Snickers?
I asked all those questions because, if you love chocolate and all you have ever tasted is store-bought chocolate, you have a real surprise waiting for you one day. A really fantastic revelation. One day you will taste gourmet chocolate and it will bowl you over. It will make you regret all those days of your life that you had not known it.
Gourmet chocolate is to a Mars Bar what fillet mignon is to a ham sandwich or what champagne is to cheap plonk. It sounds as if I am running Mars Bars down and I suppose I am in a way, but I do believe that they have their place in the hierarchy of the realm of chocolate, it is just not near the top and when you have tried gourmet chocolate, you will agree with me.
You will see the light and come to understand that perhaps you used to eat store chocolate for the sugar rush and not for the chocolate, because the store kind is, in fact, a very adulterated copy of the real thing. If you do not believe me, look at the contents list on the back of the wrapper.
Dark chocolate is created by adding fat and sugar to the cacao mixture. The U.S. Government calls this “sweet chocolate”, and demands a 15% concentration of chocolate liquor. European regulations specify a minimum of 35% cocoa solids. It does not sound very much, does it? (By the way, chocolate liquor is like lumpy gravy and if you pulverize the lumps and take away most of the fat, you get cocoa solids).
This is why European chocolate has a better name than American chocolate in general, although there are excellent gourmet chocolate manufacturers in the USA (called chocolatiers; like a chef is to haute cuisine)..
Some inexpensive chocolates are even blended with wax and most bakery chocolate products have very little, if any, real chocolate in them! They contain mostly sugar of one kind or another and “partially hydrogenated palm oil.” On the other hand, gourmet chocolate will reflect the quality of the ingredients, which includes high quality cocoa beans, no preserving agents or vegetable fats (other than cocoa butter) and sugar, which is also a preserving agent, should only be used in moderation.
Some chocolate is made from only one variety of bean, just like some wine is made from one kind of gape and some whisky is single malt, but most is made from a blend of several kinds of beans again lust like the cheaper wines and whiskeys. Gourmet chocolate has a far greater percentage of cocoa butter, and will be more extensively refined.
Aficionados of gourmet chocolate are like connoisseurs of fine wines and single malt whiskies, they appreciate the object of their affection. In time, they can talk about the advantages of one bean or process over another. If you want to go down this road, you could join one of the many good gourmet chocolate clubs on the Internet

The occasion of a wedding is a very special day for anyone. Just being asked to one can cause real excitement. It is always a pleasure to see someone walk down the aisle with the hope of true love and life long happiness. choosing a wedding present can be a lot of fun as well. There are thousands of presents that you can buy online or in retail shops.
Personalized gifts is a common fashion in weddings presents. Customized gifts bring out your creativity because you can dictate the style, design and message you want to be printed on them. Items range from photo frames, mugs and clocks, among many others.
When buying presents, always keep in mind your budget but be sure to get the look you want on the goods you buy. Here are some gift ideas that would definitely be a hit:
Tapestry – It is lovely to remember the wedding day, but how best to do this? Personalize everyday belongings by printing the couple’s portrait on them. You can have it printed on pillows, blankets or bags.
Have them printed on a tapestry wall hanging and they can be kept as heirlooms. Different coloured cotton threads can make your pictures come to life just like the photo itself.
Photo Frames – Keep your best photographs in exclusive photo frames. You can add romantic messages like ‘lovers forever” or “ideal couple”. Romantic lines from songs or poems are recommended too. You can pick from the various frames available like natural wood, quality resin, or metal steel.
Personal messages are mostly engraved by laser or cut out of wood. The couple would love putting there favorite wedding photos in such frames to remind them of the happiness of their auspicious day.
T-shirts – Show your own personality and feelings by having them printed on comfortable tees. Many couples would love to demonstrate their love for each other on cute shirts. The most widespread of the slogans on these shirts is the letter “I” followed by a big red heart and then name of the groom or bride.
You could tell the world how you feel towards a person with such a personalized tee. If you want to be more intimate, you could also print romantic messages on lingerie or underwear.
Accessories – Women love accessories. Bracelets are ideal items for personalization. You could choose sterling silver or even 9 carat – 22 carat gold. This depends on your budget, of course. But remember, it is the thought that counts.
Common themes that are put on bracelets are the date of your wedding or your anniversary or the couple’s name. You can personalize rings and necklaces in the same way too.
Tankards – Tankards are very handy. If you are giving a gift to the groom, customizing his beer mug or wine glass would surely be appreciated. Choose a beer mug that is not embarrassing. Pewter or glass look nice and the personal message would stand out clearly.
Clocks – You could buy a wall clock or personal watches. Either way, you can be assured that the recipient would find them very useful. Engraving one’s name on a metal steel sports watch is an eye catcher too. A pocket watch would be equally valued.
Looking for wedding gifts can be very enjoyable. Personalizing your gifts would add a special touch to each present. No matter the value of the gift, remember that it is always the thought that matters most.

With thousands upon thousands of relationships meeting shipwreck every year, perhaps you are wondering why the casualties are so high, and how they could have been avoided. It would seem that there are a host of issues lurking around every corner trying to hijack relationships. Upon closer evaluation, you would find that all the relationships had a common problem; lack of communication.
This lack of communication is what causes the majority of the problems in the early stages of the relationship, and left alone, can grow much worse as the relationship progresses.
So, you realize you have a problem. You decide that you need to start communicating with each other. How are you going to do that?
“Well, I’ve tried to talk to him/her, but we just end up fighting and screaming at each other and we accomplish nothing.” That is the purpose of the many measures listed above. The goal of a counselor or other person is to keep things from melting down to a screaming match.
You go to the counselor and they don’t say much, just sit and listen to you talk. They have done more for you than you may realize. They have provided an environment that is conducive to communication.
It is helpful to have a therapist or counselor who will give sound advice, but the best thing they could possibly do for you as a couple is to get you talking to each other again. If you can begin communication again, your relationship will likely last, and will not end in divorce court.
The problems that a couple are having may range from petty annoyances to moral issues. The most important thing is to talk about it openly and honestly, even if it is uncomfortable.
If you refuse to communicate with each other, your relationship is destined for failure. If you want your relationship to last a life time, you have to start talking to each other and keep on talking.
Aside from relationships, the author also frequently shares knowledge regarding 90 inch round tablecloth and vinyl floor tiles.

Most people use of one kind or another, whether its function is to cover up possible body odour or just for fun. When I say ‘fun’, I mean ‘pleasure’ or to be a magnet for admirers, whether you aim to do anything about them or not. There are literally thousands of scents to pick from and they are priced from cheap to exorbitantly expensive. So, when there are so many choices, how do you know which ones are suitable for you?
There are a few rules of thumb that you can use as guiding principles to help you choose which scent is appropriate for you. Firstly, you will have to know a little about the basic varieties of scent on hand, before you can find out which brand of perfume will suit you the best.
So, you can start by taking a look at the ingredients on the box. From these ingredients you can determine what type of fragrance is in the bottle. The basic types of fragrance are: light musk, natural scent, loud fragrance, floral scent, warm scent, bright cheerful scent and a few others.
You should get a small note book and make notes when you test perfumes in various department stores. Perhaps you will find musk too overwhelming for you or perhaps you do not want to smell like a garden flower. It is all very individual and personal. No one can say that you are right or wrong.
One’s body chemistry plays a huge part in why a will smell exquisite on your friend, but not so well on you. It is just a fact, that you cannot go by what smells good on someone else.
Scents that are manufactured from natural substances such as flowers, herbs or spices and even fruit tend to smell warm and soft. Examples of this type or fragrance are rose and lily of the valley. Musk, however, may be made to produce a delicate fragrance that lingers softly around you, but it can be strong and heady too.
You may discover that you like a scent, but that it is just too overpowering for you. If that is the situation, you may be able to get it in Eau de Cologne or Toilet Water, which are weaker in dilution. Other than that, you could use less or dab it on the underside of your clothing where it might not be subject to so much body heat and so will not disperse quite so quickly.
If you go about choosing the right for yourself systematically, it could take quite some time to find something that is ‘Essence De You’, but it is well worth it. What is a year, when you can wear the perfume for forty years? This is why I suggested getting a little note pad to put in your bag before doing the rounds of the free trial counters in the department stores.
The salesgirls won’t mind, they will be pleased to show off their knowledge and be pleased that someone is taking a real interest in their merchandise. Then, once you have one, you could begin all over again, if you enjoyed finding the first perfume, but next time you will have a notebook full of pointers.

You may find yourself in the position of deciding whether or not to stay in a relationship. If you are in this situation with a girlfriend, ask yourself the following questions to help you decide how to proceed:
Are You Happy? If you are generally unhappy in the relationship, this is problematic. Basic happiness is the barometer to use when you are deciding whether or not to leave.
If you are unhappy in the relationship, you need to decide what to do. If you want to stay you should try to make the relationship better. If you don’t think improvement is possible, you are better off moving on.
If you do break up with your girlfriend, you can expect you will be unhappy for a while. It will be better for your long-term happiness, though, if you let go of a bad relationship now so you have a chance at a good relationship in the future.
Do you think you could become happy? Maybe you are not happy right now because your relationship is having some temporary difficulties. This is especially likely if there have been life changes happening that you are trying to adjust to.
If you are unhappy and you can’t figure an outside factor that may be making your relationship rocky, this is more serious. You don’t want to sit around and wait for improvement that may never come. You would have a better long-term chance at happiness with someone new.
Does she know? If you haven’t told her that you are unhappy, she may not know. You may feel better about things if you tell her your concerns and issues, so that she has the chance to fix things. It may inspire sufficient change that your relationship significantly improves.
If it doesn’t bring significant improvement though, at least you have tried. If you tell your girlfriend that there are problems and she tends to make quick changes that don’t last, then you know this is a pattern. Lasting change is unlikely if your girlfriend keeps promising to change and not following through.

Are you a possessive and jealous person in your love life? You are not alone but it is a really big problem if you are. Jealousy and possessiveness is a sure fire way to destroy any relationship. The message you are giving to your partner is that you do not trust them and this is a really bad thing to say to someone.
Ask yourself a simple question to see if you may be insecure in your relationship: You are out for the night with friends and you walk in to a bar to find your partner talking to an ex. They are laughing about something. How do you react?
a)Would you drive to their house and just check that they are ill and that they stayed in?
b)Say well I hope you feel better soon and tell them you might see them tomorrow if they feel a bit better?
c)Wish them well then make plans to go out with other friends?
Clearly ‘a’ would not be a good option, firstly because you would make a fool out of no one but yourself and secondly, you would possibly reforge a bond between your partner and the ex so making the situation worse! Ideally you would just get on with your night out. This is what a secure person would do.
There is a reason that you are insecure in this situation but it may be something that goes all the way back to sometime in your childhood and it just keeps resurfacing. You probably won’t even remember what actually started it but it will be somewhere in your mind. It could even go back to your first school yard crush. You need to find out what it is and come to terms with it otherwise you may spend the rest of your life as an insecure, possessive and jealous person.
A great way to explore your inner thoughts is through simple a self hypnosis technique. Take time out for yourself and work out why you are jealous and possessive in your relationships.

Life isn’t fair, is it? Men seem to get all the good luck. You have devoted most of your 20′s to getting your career off the ground. It is not that you haven’t been dating you have, but not seriously. Now here you are 30 + and there is no long term relationship in sight.
You can actually listen to your biological clock ticking away. You have precious few years to find a bloke to fall in love with, make him fall in love with you, get married, and have a baby or it’s lights out. You already know all of the men in your social circle. Not that they aren’t nice enough guys, some of them anyway, but none of them is really your soul mate. Just what is a girl supposed to do?
Consider online dating. You have the opportunity to read hundreds of profiles and look at hundreds of pictures in search of that someone that will be right for you. Maybe he lives in the same city you do maybe he will live across the country or even in another country altogether. You aren’t limited to only those men that you come in contact with personally. The possibilities are almost endless.
Isn’t online dating dangerous, you might ask? Aren’t the online dating agencies made up solely of perverts, predators and crazies in assorted shapes and sizes? the short reply is, no they aren’t – not any more anyway, if they ever really were.
Maybe that was true when online dating first came on the scene but now it is above board. It’s as safe as you make it using common sense and sound judgment. Use the same caution that you would when meeting any stranger: ie don’t give him your full name, address or cell phone number until you feel quite safe doing so.
Nowadays, the Internet is more regulated than before. It is still very open, but there are many honest business owners on the net who police their websites, including dating agencies, in order to weed out the trouble makers. You can help make online dating safer too by informing the online dating agency if one of the members acts unpleasantly online. I’m sure he will be banned.
Don’t rush into a face-to-face meeting until you are confident and then make the first meeting in a public place and during the daytime. Give it a try! Mr. Right just might be a few mouse clicks away

If you and your partner are interested in a romantic vacation, you may have a hard time deciding on a locality because there is such a large number of vacation destinations to choose from. However, I would like to suggest St. Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands, which lies in the Caribbean.
St. Thomas is well-known for its romantic holidays. Hundreds of thousands of couples have been vacationing in St. Thomas in order to get pleasure from an exclusive, intimate, and romantic break. If you are asking yourself why St. Thomas is such as wonderful place for romantic breaks, you ought to read more about St. Thomas on their official Internet web site.
The Caribbean, in general, is well known for its wonderful, tropical weather and this sort of setting is many couples’ ideal romantic vacation spot. The lovely weather means unparalleled opportunities for swimming and other beach activities. If seeing all the good-looking people in their bathing costumes does not turn you on then nothing will!.
However, do not think that St. Thomas is only intended for younger people. It caters very well for people of all age groups, although some resorts are ‘adults only’. So, if you will have to check up on any age restrictions on some of the private beaches. Some may be Club 18-30, others may not admit under 18 year olds.
The ‘adults only’ resorts in St. Thomas are perfect for romantic vacations. The hotel rooms in these resorts are also of a higher class. Many of them have ocean views and large in room baths or jacuzzis. If you can get hold of one these rooms, you may not even want to go outside.
However, if you do want to go outside, many of St. Thomas’ beach resorts offer exceptional opportunities for all varieties of water sports like boat trips, snorkeling and assisted scuba diving tours. If you are not water-orientated or you want to try something on land then there is horseback riding too. Horse riding along the shoreline is very popular. Many resorts have their own specialist activities, so when you reserve your holiday, make sure you check out what is accessible to you in that district.
There are ample opportunities for shopping and sight-seeing on your own as well. You could hire a car and head up the coast or inland to one of the national parks, where you may see wildlife or find a secluded restaurant offering delectable local food.
Last, but certainly not least, in the list of romantic things to do in St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands is to get married. There are fewer limitations on marriage for American couples than on mainland America. The only observances are a $50 fee and an eight day posting of bans to declare your intent to get married. You can get married at almost any time of the day or night. So, a sunset wedding on the beach is easily possible and is, in fact, one of the most popular romantic reasons for young couples coming to St. Thomas.

I decided to give Matchbook Method a go after being convinced by the videos on the website! They show how easy it was to pick up hot women on Myspace using just an opening message!
Like many guys, i’ve always been affected by the thought of having to approach hot girls in bars or in the street! But by approaching girls via Myspace this approach anxiety would be eliminated!
The Matchbook Method openers are well constructed and very clever. However it’s not as simple as just messaging girls with these openers and waiting for dates to come by!
There is a lot of ground work that has to be carried out on your profile in order to make sure that the average hot girl is looking at something attractive and not just another boring guy trying his luck!
The most important thing is creating the belief that you are a fun and interesting guy to be around. This is achieved primarily through “social proof” photos and wall posts from other hot girls!
Other tips and tricks are provided to make your profile stand out and to make you look “high value.”
Once your profile is set up, you have a range of openers to send out! It is suggested that you play the numbers game and send out multiple openers.
Matchbook Method claims to have a 1 in 3 success rate at getting girls hooked from the opening message! To my amazement i found this to be true as i had 6 messages in my inbox from hot girls from just 15!
It is all then a matter of following a flow chart of possible responses to give the girl depending on what kind of reply she sends to you!
From then on it’s just a matter of a few more exchanges to arrange a first date and how to do this is all in the flow chart!
Advice for the date itself is also given. Where to go, how long the date should be etc! He also states that if you really like the girl, you shouldn’t attempt a kiss on the first date!
Matchbook Method also has a members only forum where you can exchange, tips, stories about your dates and receive private tuition from the author!
My only problem with Matchbook Method is a moral one! That by using canned openers and responses to send to girls, you are not being yourself and you feel like you’re cheating them somehow!
However i did not feel guilty once i had them on a date, where i could be myself!
In summary, i recommend Matchbook Method as it really works!
Matchbook Method really works at getting you plenty of easy dates with some very hot girls! Find out how you can make the best possible profile and then use the special Matchbook Method opening messages to get 1 out of every 3 girls hooked from the beginning. From then on, arranging dates are easy!

Are you using Myspace and Facebook to meet hot girls online? If you aren’t then you are missing out on plenty of opportunities!
You can become an online pick up artist by making use of the following tips.
1. Never show your relationship status! Turn it off because if you show that you are single, then any girl you message will know why you are trying to talk to her!
2. Never poke, hug or kiss etc. If you do this you risk coming across as being childish and not a busy man that women want!
3. Your primary photo is very important as she may not see anything else. You need to get a photo where you are with a hot girl and she is enjoying your company!
4. If you have cool hobbies such as surfing or snow boarding, then put some photos of these up to show that you are interesting and cool!
5. No matter how good your body is, never put up a photo of you posing half naked in front of the mirror! Trust me, it is a big turn off!
6. Never write like a teenage girl sending a text message to her best mate! You need to show that you’re intelligent!
7. Look through your wall for any boring posts like your mate inviting you over to watch Star Wars. You need to delete all these!
8. Use your wall to collect positive posts from hot girls inviting you out for a coffee and a chat. You will look desirable this way!
9. Never fill in the section on the top that asks what you’re doing today! You’re obviously doing nothing if you do! Who reads it anyway? Certainly not online pick up artists!
Now you are on your way to becoming an Online Pick Up Artist! You now look desirable to hot girls online so you must now have a go with our Online Pick Up Artist opening messages! Take a look at the blog and follow the additional advice you find! Best of luck!

If you are feeling romantic and you want to be alone with your loved one in a romantic place far from humdrum distractions, why not go to Paris and take a cruise? The cruise ships are gorgeous and offer haute cuisine with fine wines and a wide range of dishes. Service on board is superb and if they know that it is a special trip for you, they will go out of their way to make it even more special.
Just by choosing the city of Paris as your venue, you will be conveying the impression of romance, because as everybody knows, Paris has the reputation of being the capital of the world of romance.
So, how do you go about booking one of these cruises? Well, clearly, first of all, you have to be in Paris. This is not a difficulty, if you live in Europe as there are flights and sleeper trains. If you are American, you will have to take the longer-term view and start saving for next year.
Once in your hotel in Paris, you can either ask reception for details or go to one of the many Tourist Information Centres, where everybody speaks English. The cruise line staff will pick you up from your hotel on the chosen day, so that you will not have the hassle of having to find your way through a strange, busy city alone.
Once on board, the pampering begins with your welcoming on board and a free drink to light the fires of romance. You will enjoy four or more hours of this, depending on which cruise you decide on, but they are all wonderfully romantic voyages aboard beautiful cruise liners.
Generally speaking, the cruise will begin on the left bank of the river Seine, usually in the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower. Some of these boats are made of a type of perspex, so that your view of the streets and monuments is unimpeded. And of course, all the sights are lit up at night and in quite a stunning fashion too. You will also be able to see downwards into the water itself.
As you cruise on this glass boat you will be entertained by some of the finest musicians that Paris can offer you. Solo instrumentalists; quartets; classical music; solo artiste singers or a duet. There are also cruises with more modern music as well, but I don’t find them as romantic as the more traditional stuff. However, you can take all these particulars into account when you book your romantic cruise in Paris.
You will not only pass by celebrated landmarks, you will also pass very close by them and even underneath them. Famous bridges; Notre Dame; the Louvre, and many more. Not only that, but you will see all these incredible historical monuments while being pampered by the best hosts that Paris has to offer and drinking fine wines and champagne, seated at the bow of the cruiser in luxury.
Once your romantic cruise and your meal are over, you will be taken to a sumptuous show on the Champs Elysees, where you will be given a half bottle of champagne on entry. There is no need to worry about driving, so let your hair down and enjoy yourselves.
When you have had a sufficient amount of the high life, you will be taken back to your hotel, in the same manner that you were picked up. However, there are other options too. You may want to go back to the hotel on a romantic horse and carriage, it will sustain that romantic mood.
Once you get back to your hotel, why not both get in the bath together? Light a few fragrant candles, open another bottle of wine and play some soft music. It will be an evening you will both remember for the rest of your lives, I assure you.

Some people do not like being alone on St. Valentine’s Day. Younger women in particular consider that being alone on St. Valentine’s Day carries a stigma, which makes them feel depressed and lonely. But just because someone is not in a relationship, it does not mean they cannot have a good time. I will give a couple of suggestions below to help you have a time to remember.
1] Call up all your single girlfriends and go dancing. Many young men like to dance every now and again or to their favourite songs, but they do not want to dance non-stop. On the other hand, young women often do like to dance non-stop, so you may have a better time without a boyfriend in a club.
2] Another first-class idea for single girls on Valentine’s Day is to give a movie night at your home. You could invite over all of your single friends and hire a few comedies. Instead of being sad and miserable, you and your friends can watch the movies and take the rise out of the characters in the film.
Hire a few horror films too for an extra special night. Lots of young people like horror films. They like to have a scream and hide their faces behind their friends’ backs. Treat the evening like a proper night at the movies and get popcorn, snacks, ice cream and cola, etc in.
3] You could hold a singles party. Invite all of your single friends and tell them they have to bring a friend of the opposite sex. Buy or borrow some of those games that make you answer personal questions like ‘Forfeits’ and ‘Twister’, where you have to put your hands and feet on numerous coloured spots on a plastic mat.
‘Mr and Mrs’ is another game where you ask one half of a ‘couple’ questions about the other in his absence. He has to corroborate the replies when he is invited back into the room. The answers could be side-splitting, because the contestants will not know each other well.
3] Hire a table in a non-romantic restaurant and get eight or more girlfriends to go out for a meal. Once the atmosphere starts building, it can become great fun and you could go dancing later.
4] You could arrange a visit to the theatre and have a meal afterwards. Most people do not go to the theatre every year, so going with your friends on St. Valentine’s Day would make the day truly memorable.
5] You could make up a basket of your favourite things. Include some really special items like gourmet chocolate or other gourmet candy. Get something lavish to drink that is appropriate to your age. Then you can pig out on your favourite foods and drink and watch a few films on your own or with your sister or other family member like a favourite cousin.
There are many things you can do to enjoy Valentine’s Day as a single girl, there’s no need to mope around feeling sorry for yourself at all.

You’ve heard the saying, “Talking is sharing. Listening is caring,” haven’t you? I saw it on a sign in front of a church a couple of years ago, and it caught my eye. In the last few weeks, I’ve seen it again several times. I’m not sure who first said it, but it really is true.
One time not too long ago I sent out a devotional to my list of email subscribers and it included me telling about a challenging time that I was going through and how the Scriptures has really had a big impact by providing a lot of encouragement. I was very surprised by the amazing response that I got from readers. Some were old friends that called to check in on me, and other readers that I have never met sent me encouraging emails. A number of people even said that I should call them if I need someone to talk to. That was very special to me.
Just knowing that they took the time to email or call, and that they cared how I was doing, really meant a lot to me. By doing that I knew that my friends and readers had truly listened to the message of my devotional, and they cared enough to show it.
The world we live in is always hectic and busy, and it’s easy for us to have trouble listening to others. We tend to get distracted by what is going on and by the concerns in our own lives and we don’t stop to think about how we can help others just by listening. Most of us our guilty of this, but it is something that we can work on.
Listening says, “I value you. You are important to me. I’m concerned about what you are sharing because it’s important to you.” Yes, listening deepens relationships, builds trust, and affirms the other person. It’s a way of showing God’s love to those around us.
Throughout the Gospels, we see the Lord Jesus listening to people and their needs. In John 3, Jesus listened to Nicodemus, a prominent and righteous, Jewish leader who questioned Him about His teachings and His miracles.
Not too long after speaking with Nicodemus, we read of a well known story where Jesus talked and listened to a sinful woman while she was getting water from a well. This woman would not have been considered worthy for most of the leaders of that day to pay her any attention, but Jesus did. He wasn’t concerned with things like wealth, status, gender, He was there for people that needed Him. This gives us a terrific model that we should be following.
Thank you, dear friends, for your care and concern. I want to let you know that my unpleasant event was resolved as well as it could be, and there has been reconciliation. Thanks for caring! Thanks for listening!
God, I thank You for the wonderful friends that you have placed in my life. I ask that you would help me to be a good listener and to show the love that these friends have shown to me during my difficult times.

The Theobroma Cacao or ‘the food of the Gods’ is what we all know as the cocoa tree. It’s origins can be traced back to South America’s rain forests, particularly to Central America, although historians are still at variance over certain facts surrounding this tree.
It is suggested that the Mayans first grew the cacao tree in 300 AD, although others point to inadequate evidence that it was grown or at least harvested in around 3,000 BC. The Aztecs also used the cacao, but from about 1100 AD.
The chocolate (drink) that we all know today was called ‘xocoatl’. It was a very special beverage that was made out of cacao, chilies, anise seed, vanilla, corn meal and some other spices. It is said that only royalty were permitted to drink it and then only from golden chalices, which were to be used for the purpose only once.
The cacao tree is very sensitive to its environment and it most often grows in the shade of the rain forest canopy. If only for this reason alone, chocolate lovers should join forces with the environmentalists to save the rain forests so that the cacaos will continue to exist.
This tree is unusual because its fruits grow directly on its branches and trunk; midges cause the pollination of the flowers during the night time.
The cacao tree is very productive, but not very fruitful. It can have in the region of 10,000 blossoms, but only about 10 to 50 of those will mature into fruits or pods. This is thought to be because the cacao tree can adjust the number of blossoms that will mature according to its ability to handle the energy loss of bearing fruit or pods.
The cacao tree looks after itself in this way to preserve its health. Too many pods might deplete its energy so much that it would not survive a viral or insect attack or too many ripe pods might snap off its branches.
The cocoa beans grow within the pod, the fruit of the blossom. Harvesters wait for the pod to ripen. They will then break open the pods and take out the seeds, which are surrounded by a white pulp. This is thrown away these days, but it is thought that many years ago it was fermented into an alcoholic drink for ceremonial occasions. The beans are the source of chocolate, although there is plenty to do yet..
The seeds are very bitter at this point and it is for this reason that they will go through a process of fermentation for about three to seven days. This causes the seeds to go through chemical as well as physical changes. The result of this was used for the royal treat, the ‘xocoatl’.
However, to turn it into what we recognize as chocolate, the fermented beans have to go through quite a few more processes. Processes by the name of: drying, cleaning, roasting, grading, opening, separation, grinding and liquefying.
After liquefying, you have unadulterated chocolate in the form of chocolate liquor. This is sold to chocolate producers and the good ones make high-class chocolate from it and the bad ones adulterate it so much that it is scarcely chocolate any more.
