Not many people expect from San Jose anything fancy, lovely or a place that would make an impression on them but this place mad a big impression on me. But there is no reason to stay just at any hotel.

I also know that most people are just happy to spend a night somewhere in San Jose and then take off for their chosen destinations, after all not everyone thinks of San Jose as a touristic destination. But there is no reason to stay just at any hotel. I mean you are on vacation and you deserve comfort and relaxation even if you are just passing by.

The place is run by Steve and Rita, the owners. Together they have over 50 years of combined experience in the hospitality and tourism industry. That is why they how to make you feel good or at least they made me feel great. They surprised me because unlike many other hotels they actually serve up delicious food and have a good time doing it.

I don’t think anyone could give such a good service without genuinely loving what they do and I’m sure they do. Another thing I loved was that for an extremely reasonable fee you get a pick up or a drop off to the international airport.

My personal experience here was great. I came in as a costumer and left that place as a friend. An Again I would highly recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast to anyone even if you are only staying for one night.

When you find the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and decide it is time to commit yourself to marriage there are lots you need to consider. After spending months, and for some even years planning a day that includes everyone you want to share your special day with it is finally time for you and your spouse to go on a honeymoon. I would like to tell you about Caribbean honeymoon destinations.

You can understand from the climate alone why this destination is one of the most popular and with the idyllic scenery and surroundings it is like being a part of your own dream.

You can get everything you want with you and if you are thinking of buying the honeymoon as a wedding present then you should definitely look at the all inclusive packages that allow you to enjoy all there is to offer while taking nothing more than the money that you want to buy souvenirs for those back home.

The foods that are available usually come in a buffet style which means you are able to eat what you want when you want it so if you want a lie in one day, or all of them you can go for it without worrying about missing breakfast.

Comparing these beaches to many others around the world you can pretty much see through the water to the bottom which is one of the main reasons so many of the movies we know and love are shot here. Even the marine life is happy to greet you and you can go for a ride with dolphins or try your hand at jet skiing knowing that you are safe at all times.

Taking shade under a palm tree seems like a million miles away until you actually get to do it. Just tasting the fresh fruits that are sold on the beach will give you a taste of the sweet sun.

Everyone here, both local people and those who work in your hotel will be welcoming towards you and even those of you who dont want to leave children behind can easily be accommodated for. Ask before leaving if kids clubs or other childcare is available as you could enjoy both family life and some needed lone time with your new wife or husband.

The US Virgin Islands came into America’s possession in 1917 after Denmark sold the Danish West Indies to it for $25m in gold. At the time, the USA was worried that the Germans would gain control of the islands and use them as a base from which to launch attacks on America.

The status of the US Virgin Islands is one of an organized, unincorporated territory of the United States. This means the residents of the US Virgin Islands are US citizens, but cannot vote in US presidential elections. Therefore, US citizens do not need a passport to visit the US Virgin Islands.

The US Virgin Islands are part virgin Islands archipelago and are located in the Leeward islands of the Lesser Antilles along with the British Virgin Islands. The three main islands of this American territory are called Saint Croix, Saint John and Saint Thomas. There is also a much smaller island called Water Island. All together, there are about 60 islands with a total surface area of 133.73 square miles, although most of the islands are uninhabited.

The four main islands of the US Virgin Islands are known to their residents by nicknames. These are ‘Twin City’ (St. Croix); ‘Rock City’ (St. Thomas); ‘Love City’ (St. John) and ‘Small City’ (Water Island) and their total population was 108,612 in the 2000 census.

Since the 1960’s, the islands turned their focus from agriculture to heavy industry and tourism and the US Virgin Islands are a very popular destination for American tourists and honeymooners. It is very easy for Americans to get there because a passport is not required, the islands are only 1,730 miles east south-east of Miami, the currency is the US dollar and everybody speaks English.

The islands enjoy an arid, pleasant climate. The average temperature in the capital, Charlotte Amelie, is 33c in the summer and 30c in the winter. September to November are the wettest months and February and March are the driest. The USVI are subject to hurricanes. Hurricane Hugo in 1989 was particularly devastating, but the islands were also hit in 1998, 1999 and 2008.

Tourism is the industry that most of the islanders are engaged in and about 2,000,000 people visit every year, many of them on cruise liners. St Thomas and St Croix are the best equipped to deal with tourists offering hotels and resorts along with lovely beaches and fine restaurants. Water sports are the main activity, although tourists can also hire horses or jeeps to discover the interior of the US Virgin Islands.

There are plenty of destinations for people interested in sailing and if you are tired of the Virgin Islands then move on over to the rest of the Caribbean.

The Caribbean islands are part of an island chain covering 2,500 miles. Given the enormous distance, it is no wonder that tourists spend weeks out there in order to enjoy the splendour that it has to offer.

Just like in the Virgin Islands, there are lots of charter firms you can try for various hobbies. These companies come in different sizes, but perhaps the best is the yacht charter.

When you charter a yacht, apart from the yacht, the other elements and benefits that come with it are meals, separate guest rooms, a galley, toilet and shower.

Since you are the paying guest aboard the boat, you can customize the menu by telling the crew before the voyage what you want to eat. You can help out by buying the provisions yourself, having someone from the crew do it for an additional fee or choose a set menu from one of their pre-composed packages.

Since most of the islands in the Caribbean are small and uninhabited, you are certain to see places that not many have seen. But if you can’t afford to rent a chartered yacht, don’t worry because you can probably get one that will cost as little as $50 if you are able to book a pre-arranged trip with several other guests to share the bill.

One thing you ought to be prepared for during you sailing vacation is the possibility of a storm. These generally occurs during the months of June to November. If you are not sure that this is the best time, book the trip on another date.

But if you are adamant about going on your dates, there are some online tools you can utilize to check if the area you will be sailing in has ever been hit by a storm before.

The other option is to plan your itinerary to the Caribbean islands further south because they are less likely to be affected by a hurricane. These places include the islands of Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Curacao, and Turks and Caicos.

If you like the idea of going sailing around the Caribbean there are ample choices. You could do far worse than start in St Croix in the US Virgin Islands and travel south or west. If you start in St Croix, which the pirates of old used to call Santa Cruz, you will not have to have a passpert and can take your pets with you, but you will need more ID if you call into foreign islands.

Your honeymoon should be a special time of bonding and relaxation. Yet, failing to appropriately plan a honeymoon can result in it being stressful and frustrating. Below are some tips to apply to make sure your honeymoon goes as well as possible.

Of the utmost importance is to talk over with your future spouse their preferences regarding the honeymoon. Do not assume that you already know the type of honeymoon they would prefer. Discuss thoroughly location, accommodation and budget. Both of you should initially write your own list of preferences and you should then compare to find aspects that overlap.

Travel agents can be a great help with planning a honeymoon and can advise you based on your joint preferences. Honeymoons are one of the few areas that travel agents still receive a commission on booking, meaning that they will normally put extra effort in to helping you.

Once you have consulted with a travel agent and know the likely cost, create a honeymoon savings plan and start setting money aside for it on a weekly basis. You could also ask the travel agent if they offer a honeymoon registry, which allows guests to pay a portion of your honeymoon costs.

Try to pre-pay as much beforehand as possible. Incidental expenses such as tips and souvenirs, tend to be manageable expenses; however, if you neglect to budget for extra luggage, car rental or day trips, you can easily find yourselves short of money whilst away.

Having booked and budgeted your money, you only need to pack. Do this well in advance because it will be one less thing to worry about in the frantic run up to your wedding. If you leave it until the last minute, the greater likelihood there is of you forgetting something.

We scoured every corner of the internet to find everything you ever wanted to know about Beach wedding in Mexico. Here is the absolute best source we uncovered, Beach wedding in Mexico

Your honeymoon is no ordinary trip. Its in your best interest that you don’t see it that way either. Trust us when we tell you that your honeymoon is most definitely a big, big deal to your bride. Just like her wedding, she has been fanaticizing about her honeymoon for years. And just like her wedding, her honeymoon must be perfect as well. So with this in mind, you can pretty much forget your plan to toss a few pair of socks, underwear, two shirts and a pair of jeans in a bag and head off your exotic honeymoon location. Odds are you need advice on how to pack. There is a lot of attention given to brides as to what they should take on their honeymoon, but us guys are often completely overlooked.

This list should serve as a good beginning point to help grooms think through what it is that they will need to bring with them for their honeymoon. As you begin to organize your trip, you will likely think of all sorts of small items that you may need to bring. That is a good thing.

Do Yourself A Favor-Don’t Rush: Whatever you do, don’t wait until the last second to begin packing. Waiting until the last moment to do your packing will likely cause you to stress out. This could lead to a fight with your bride. Now that is a horrible way of beginning a honeymoon! Think carefully about what will need on your trip a good month in advance, and then pack your bags at least a week in advance.

Dress the Part of a Gentlemen: Nothing makes the ladies swoon like a sharp dressed fellow. Keep this in mind when packing. A few slick outfits for your fine dining experiences is a very good idea. Your bride will also appreciate the effort you have shown as well.

Say No To Creases: The crease is your enemy. The last thing you want is to arrive at your honeymoon destination only to find that all of your clothing is completely creased. After all who feels like ironing after a ten-hour or even a twenty hour travel day? To keep this from happening, pack clothes that don’t wrinkle easily. Consider dry-cleaning an outfit. Dry cleaned clothes are more resistant to wrinkles and creases.

Turn on the Sexy: You have the rest of your life to be boring in bed. This is your honeymoon and you need to turn it up a notch. Make sure you pack some sexy sleepwear of your own. Your honeymoon is a great opportunity to bring out of sexy boxers or briefs that your bride has not seen before.

Pack To Avoid The Pharmacy: Contemplate your pharmacy needs well in advance, and make sure you have condoms and lubricants handy. Running from place to place in an unfamiliar city looking for such sensitive items could prove stressful.

The Carry On Bag-Your Backup Plan: A smart travel knows the value of packing a couple of days of clothing in their carry on bag. This way if your luggage is lost you still have a change of clothing.

Use Your Hotel: Think through what your hotel has available for free. Any respectable hotel will have soap, shampoo and the like. This, of course, means that you don’t have to pack every single toiletry item that you might need.

Milton Kenny is a travel-obsessed writer who loves writing about exotic locations. He also helps men with marital issues such as the best groomsmen gifts.

Most of us like weddings and a big part of weddings is often to give a toast. The groom’s wedding toast is an absolute must. It doesn’t matter how shy you might be, the groom’s wedding toast is crucial to a wedding. But not to worry, there are a few easy tips that can help any groom make a great wedding toast. One of the first places to start is to make sure that your speech is displaying your romantic side, as well as a sense of humor and originality.

On most occasions, the groom’s toast is one that largely focuses on thanking family and friends for their contributions and time. Of course, any groom worth his salt will want to thank his wife as well. Usually the groom’s speech comes after the father of the bride’s speech. Hopefully, the father of bride has said some nice or even great things about you, which should make the transition to your speech a bit easier.

Keep in mind that the groom’s speech really needs to focus on expressing gratitude to all those people that made your wedding a success. One way to make sure you are appropriately and effectively thanking all those who need to be thanked is to consider who contributed the most to your wedding. When writing your groom’s toast, think about any contributions that were funny or particularly funny or stood out in some other way. These contributions may very well make for great stories. Of course, timing, as always, is everything. With this in mind, your speech should not exceed five minutes. There are going to be many speeches and toast at your wedding, and the last thing you want is for people to remember your wedding as a boring one.

Of course, try not to leave anyone out of your speech. Wedding mistakes of this nature can often wound ego, but no pressure.

The Parents. It should go without saying that thanking the parents is critical. Thanking the parents has an extra level of importance if they have paid for the wedding. Regardless, thanking them for their support and for allowing you into their family is an absolute must. Fake sincerity if necessary.

Thank Those Who Lent An Extra Hand. A special thanks to individuals such as your best man or bridesmaids is always a good idea. More than likely were instrumental in making certain that your wedding was a success.

The Bride. Of course, you should thank your bride and tell her how much you love her. Everyone expects it and people will feel horrible if you forget.

Some Other Tips:

-Whatever you do, don’t try and be someone else. No one wants to see your Steve Martin impression.

-Be yourself. Don’t put on an act.

-Keep a cheat sheet on hand and don’t be afraid to look at it.

-Eye contact is key. When thanking someone look them in the eye.

-Write your speech out and practice!

Honeymoons are too often an afterthought to wedding planning, when, in terms of memories, they are just as significant as your day in church. Your honeymoon is an occasion that you’ll remember for the rest of your life, so give careful consideration to honeymoon ideas and honeymoon locations.

Initially decide what your objectives are for the trip and what you absolutely can’t do without. Where do you want to go? Do you want to relax or be active? What are your priorities? Beautiful weather, sightseeing, adventure, cost, etc.

Trips to secluded beach resorts or islands are traditionally popular, for obvious reasons. They mean that you can enjoy quality time with each other whilst relaxing from the busy timetable of the last six months and losing yourselves in beautiful surroundings.

Another option is to take a cruise; they offer an equally quiet, relaxing time whilst at the same time making it possible to visit a host of different locations. Should you prefer a more action-packed honeymoon, give consideration to a mountain resort or an adventure travel trip (such as backpacking or a safari).

Regarding honeymoon locations, these are some of the most popular: Australia, Bahamas, Bali, Canada, Costa Rica, Egypt, France, Hawaii, Maldives, Seychelles, Spain.

Whatever kind of location and honeymoon you decide on, look to book it at least 6 months in advance so that you’ll have the pick of the rooms, and can begin planning in general. See if there is a ‘romance’ or ‘honeymoon’ package available to enhance your time away; extras such as penthouse rooms, champagne and bouquets of flowers will make your time away more memorable still.

As soon as your hotel is arranged, starting researching and booking tours, tickets, restaurant seats, and any other activities for which advance reservations can be needed, especially if you’re going on your honeymoon in the summer months (bear in mind that different locations will have different peak seasons).

Your overall objective should be to make your honeymoon different to an ordinary vacation. In addition to normal vacation items, try taking some fun extras with you, like romantic music, candles, bubble bath, massage lotion and lingerie. Also, be sure to take a video camera and pocket camera with you, as it’ll be a time that you’ll want to remember forever.

With an amazingly large number of animal parks, white sand beaches, a beguiling island and very hospitable people, Tanzania is definitely a top destination for those that seek to have an unforgettable travel experience. The Solid standing mountains surrounded by dense tropical forests, bird havens and ancient sites are all the more a compelling reason to take up your vacation in this expansive East African country.

Serengeti National Park is to Tanzania what Maasai Mara is to Kenya and the Kruger National Park to South Africa. It covers a good 14,763 sq km (5678 sq miles) reaching up to the Kenyan border. Serengeti is claimed by many to be the best national park in Africa and I guess it’s as a result of the 35 species of plain-dwelling animals, including wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs and lions, which feature in the spectacular Serengeti migration between November and May.

Indeed the migration of the wildebeests was included among the Seven Wonders of the World and rightly so. The phenomenal and instantaneous exodus of the wildebeests in their thousands finds root in the quest for grazing land and a chance to mate. With Vicious Predators either laying in wait or in hot pursuit, the weak, the old and the too young stand very little chance of survival.

Another famous attraction is the Ngorongoro Conservation Area which rises high above the plains of the Serengeti. Ngorongoro spans from Lake Natron in the Northeast (the breeding ground for East Africa’s flamingoes) to Lake Enaysi in the South and Lake Manyara in the East. The still active volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai meaning Mountain of God, and whose last major eruption was in 1983 rests on the Conservation area. A special place 610m deep, 20km in diameter and covering an area of 311sq km is at the focal point of the park. They call it the Ngorongoro Crater. It is a shelter to almost all the plains mammals except for the Impala, Topi and the Giraffe and has been said to have the densest population of predators in Africa. The endangered Black Rhino might be a good reason for you to take a hike in this area. The rich birdlife includes flamingoes which are attracted by the soda content in Lake Magadi on the crater floor.

Tanzania has many other amazing parks and it would be a great injustice if I didn’t say something about Selous Game Reserve- the park that is bigger than the entire of Switzerland and covers more than a sixth of the area covered by Tanzania, making it one of the biggest parks in the world. In terms of wildlife, the Selous Game Drive which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site has many elephants and lions too not to mention many many other wild animals.

Other parks in Tanzania include Lake Manyara, Gombe National Park, Udzungura Mountains, the Island of Rubondo, the Mahale Mountains, Katavi, Ruaha, Tarangire, Mikumi National Park and Arusha National Park. For those who are lovers of Marine life, Tanzania has many Marine Parks including Kilwa Reserve, Latham Island Reserve, Tanga Coral Gardens and Rufigi Delta. Tanzania also has got a number of proposed national Parks that include Saadani and Kizulo Plateau. As you can see, the options are many and no matter what your choices are, a trip to Tanzania will be most rewarding.

And now, how can the end of this article be neared without mentioning the challenge-tossing Tanzanian Physical feature that has attracted lots of tourists every year in the quest to climb the highest mountain in Africa? Mount Kilimanjaro, resting near Moshi with a spectacular snowy peak, is a good challenge for those who not only want to enjoy a spectactular view of Africa from the Peak but also have many tales thereafter of the wonderful experience in having conquering the highest mountain in Africa.

Also found in the Ngorongoro Area is the historical Olduvai Gorge which spreads across fifty Kilometers and is one hundred metres deep. The Gorge is the site where three species of hominid fossils were discovered with the age of the oldest fossil being estimated as being over three million years old. The hominid fossils were discovered by Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey after being exposed off the volcanic soil following rock in this area being eroded by a river. In this place too stands a museum that displays other ancient findings including those of a giant giraffe.

The world’s longest and second deepest fresh-water lake is Lake Tanganyika which is also found in Tanzania. This Lake is the main gateway to the Mahale Mountains and Gombe Stream National Parks and it’s at the heart of dhow fishing boats- building industry. When you are in Tanzania, don’t miss a chance to enjoy the awe-inspiring feeling that comes when you fix your eyes on an expansive body of water like Lake Tanganyika.

Within these lines, there is one more place that you must pay a visit to: Zanzibar. This is no doubt one of Africa’s most renown and remarkable islands. This Indian Ocean Tropical Island is well known world over for white sandy beaches and a slow -paced way of life. The traditional dhow boats drifting amidst gently-swaying palm trees in the Zanzibar blissful breeze is a feeling that can only at best be remotely expressed by words. This Island has the allure of a paradise and the mystery of an out-of -this-world experience. Built on its fishing and spice trade, Zanzibar has not changed much and Arabic Influence has left its mark on the island’s architecture moreso in the historical Stone Town. To sum it up, Zanzibar speaks for itself!

Many have visited this amazing country and taken back home with them the beauty that awaits you in this land. By all means, make Tanzania your next destination.
