Being a good person and integrity are two inseparable things. A person can only be said to be of integrity if he does good things, whether or not he is being watched.
It does not require the backing of the masses and approval for you to be termed as a socially upright person. Contrary to that, you may have people following you and encouraging you to do bad things.
The whole idea of integrity is to ensure that you function autonomously and are not bowing down to undue pressure from the masses.
One should grow up in the notion that integrity calls for one to do good things out of inner impulses. You should not be pushed or requested to do good stuff. Therefore, values and effort will always help us judge how well we care complying with respectful practice.
Life brings with tit a lot of surprises and changes. However, if you have integrity, you will be able to appreciate the fact that you can go through difficult or surprise situations and come out as a leading force.
There is no guilt in doing the right thing. In fact, there is satisfaction unlike ever before. One who feels he is on the right path will always breathe easy knowing that there will be no doubt and regret or any feelings of apprehension. Doing good feels best whenever one decides to do it without the idea of compensation.
Integrity is what will dictate how well people get along with you. If you are difficult to live with, you will go down the pecking order in a flash. The people who are likely to get more friends and win many hearts over are those who will show good character and prove that they are trustworthy.
Likewise, you would want to stick around someone who has integrity. There are people who naturally are inspiring. These same people will have an affinity towards progressing themselves, people around them and everything that is concerned. Integrity transcends fame and fortune.
